I’ve enjoyed extensive face time with the paranormal, not as a Medium or Ghost Hunter, but as a hired journalist and Chief Editor for The Psychic Times Newsletter. Over the years, I’ve investigated many unusual topics, and later became obsessed with astrology, learning from some of the best astrology teachers in the field.
I’m a certified Hellenistic Astrologer, a FOCA (Foundations of Classical Astrology) course graduate from the Oraculos School of Astrology, and I’ve been asked by Uptime, a micro-learning app, to write creative content on topics that include astrology, and fantasy fiction writing.
Time Warped was my first teen novel, published by Gypsy Shadow Publishing. It won P&E’s award for best young adult novel and received glowing praise from Disney actress Danielle “Topanga” Fishel: “I could not put Time Warped down!” The screenplay, which I adapted from the novel, nabbed a semi-finalist spot in the Filmmaker’s Int’l Screenplay Contest. It also received attention from Emmy Award nominee, producer, and fashion expert, Jess Zaino.
The Ascender has a new publisher, Sovereign Publishing, where it’s literally right at home—cause it’s my own new label! Book 1 is the first in The Ascender Series and will be re-branded and published with its right off the presses sequel, THE DESCENDER, later this year. The Ascender was awarded a finalist prize by the American Fiction Awards contest, and earned glowing reviews from a librarian and a comic book icon.
In the past, I’ve worked extensively in the entertainment industry: CBS, HBO, The Fifi Oscard Talent Agency, and New Line Cinema, in NY. Though I relocated to Asheville, NC, my daughter and I were whisked back to NY after we were chosen to star in a reality fashion Pilot for Back Roads Entertainment. Since that time, I’ve appeared as a guest on numerous talk radio programs, including: Time Tamer and Women’s View Radio. I am the mom of a NYC theater producer, writer and actress, and published novelist… not too proud a mama, am I? But I’m also proud wife of a tugboat sailor, and I’ve got a sweet King Charles Cavalier, Admiral Halsey at my side.
Currently, I’m in sunny Florida. but who knows where that rabbit hole will lead me in the future. I’m down for an adventurous life.
