“Aim for the Stars & Follow Your Fanta-Sci”
As astrologer “Tracey StarShine,” I follow the stars, and as an author with Gypsy Shadow Publishing, I follow my Fanta-Sci, right down the rabbit hole. Neither have led me wrong yet!
In the past, I’ve enjoyed extensive face time with the paranormal, not as a Medium or Ghost Hunter, but as a hired journalist and Chief Editor for The Psychic Times Newsletter. Over the years, I’ve investigated many unusual topics, and later became obsessed with astrology, learning from some of the best astrology teachers in the field. I’m a certified Hellenistic Astrologer, a FOCA (Foundations of Classical Astrology) course graduate from the Oraculos School of Astrology, and I’ve built up a steady and impressive clientele in West Palm Beach, NYC, Chicago, Atlanta & Los Angeles, a list that includes some notables in the entertainment industry. I also became the very first horary reader employed on a popular online site, and I presently write monthly blogs for psychicbloggers.com.
Time Warped was my first teen novel, published by Gypsy Shadow Publishing. It won P&E’s award for best young adult novel and received glowing praise from Disney actress Danielle “Topanga” Fishel, who wrote: “I could not put Time Warped down!” The screenplay, which I adapted from the novel, nabbed a semi-finalist spot in the International Filmmaker’s Contest. It also received attention from Emmy Award nominee, producer, and fashion expert, Jess Zaino.
The Ascender was newly chosen for release as a hard cover from Gypsy Shadow Publishing and is my 2nd teen sci-fi/fantasy, adventure novel for them. It earned top glowing reviews from Readers’ Favorite and Kirkus Reviews. and also received raves from Comic Book Icon and ACE award winner, Bob Burden, 5 stars from a teen critic on PagesforThoughts.com, and 5 stars from a high school librarian… to name but a few. This shameless plugging of my novel shall not stop, until The Ascender rises to the top of every Nook and Kindle–lol!
I’m currently repped by the resplendent Katharine Sands at The Sarah Jane Freymann Agency in NYC. But previously I shared the same agent as William Shatner, Carmen La Via, at The Fifi Oscard Agency. Sadly, Carmen passed, but I was fortunate to personally chat with “The Shatner” on Twitter on 2 occasions! And yes… this brief encounter was a thrill for this nerdy Trekker not to be matched in all the galaxy.
In the past, I’ve worked extensively in the entertainment industry: CBS, HBO, The Fifi Oscard Talent Agency, and New Line Cinema, in NY. Though I relocated to Asheville, NC, my daughter and I were whisked back to NY after we were chosen to star in a reality fashion Pilot for Back Roads Entertainment. Since that time, I’ve appeared as a guest on numerous talk radio programs, including: Time Tamer and Women’s View Radio. I am the mom of a gifted actress, Broadway theater critic, a published novelist, film & tv writer and director, Rachel Pacelli…not too proud a mama, am I? But I’m also the proud wife and partner to a handsome tugboat operator, Daniel Pacelli. Currently, we’re hunkered down in sunny Florida. But who knows where the future will lead, as the journey down the rabbit hole continues.
