As I tensely sat in the movie theater yesterday for the revival of Hitchcock’s classic Rear Window, synchronicities rained down like 3-D poop from The Birds.
Turns out, I share a birthday with RW’s Jimmy Stewart (day and month, not year!—to be absolutely clear). And like the rest of our Scandal loving nation, I too have been enthralled with the Rear Window reality case surrounding Teflon Kingsta, Robert Durst, as captured in the HBO Documentary, The Jinx.
Let the record show, borrowing legal terminology Ironside’s Raymond Burr would appreciate, RW’s killer also cut up a body, using an everyday hacksaw and knife, and tried his best to hide the act, though, to his chagrin, his evil deeds wound up surfacing.
Third synchronicity-–really just another example of the uncanny accuracy of astrology—occurs while all of this truth and fiction play out around the New Moon Eclipse in the last potent degree of Pisces, the sign ruling movies and photography (Stewart’s character, a photojournalist)—and also deals with buried secrets, self-undoing and fame.
Pile on that, the world’s final Uranus square Pluto which recently had an exact hit, symbolizing the confessional bombshell from Durst that took place while he was in the commode, no less. (Anything to do with bodily waste is ruled by Pluto.) And there you have it, Durst is caught!—to use his own words against him.
The schism between the haves and have-nots in our dysfunctional legal system bears close examination.
Whether he gets off or not will most likely rely on his Piscean Dream Team, but I tend to think not. The last square of Uranus and Pluto calls for reform and the planet that rules the plutonian change is Saturn, now making a run through Sagittarius, the sign of justice. The schism between the haves and have-nots in our dysfunctional legal system bears close examination. And the fact that Saturn is retrograding, going backwards in time–means we need to revisit a prior and similar California case—like OJ’s—and correct the errors that occurred with the justice system to make it more of a Justice for All!
